Guaranteed message delivery
with VoiceBlast
VoiceBlast is a critical component of
Norton’s well-oiled internal communications
machine. With VoiceBlast, Norton knows
its employees aren’t reading anything in
the newspapers they haven’t heard directly
from their leadership first. When e-mail
can’t do the job, hearing the voice of the
CEO or COO sends a powerful message.
“Our administration cannot speak to 9,400
employees in person at one time, but they
get very close with VoiceBlast,” says Steve
Menaugh, Vice President, Public Relations
and Communications.
VoiceBlast lets employees know Norton is
vested in their success by providing internal
communications that work. Norton reaches
2,800 mailboxes with one brief, targeted message at a time. “Employees know when
they receive a VoiceBlast message, it is
important. And we know they’re listening,
because the message cannot be deleted,”
adds Menaugh.
Norton’s CEO and COO enjoy recording and
relaying VoiceBlast messages. They know when
they want to make an impact, VoiceBlast is always
available. “Steve Williams and Russ Cox find
the production process easy, flexible, and highly
effective,” says Menaugh. “And because we use
VoiceBlast judiciously, it is even more valuable to
us. Our messages are not diluted from overuse.” |

Capturing all audiences with SoundCareNorton communicates via SoundCare to an
already captive audience by using a marketing
strategy that centers on variety. Marketing tries
to reach as many people as possible with just
a few main media. “SoundCare is an important
communications medium we rely on to help us
diversify our marketing,” says Jason VanDiver,
Director of Marketing.
Promoting main service lines, the foundation,
physician offices, and immediate care centers,
SoundCare fits in well with Norton’s overall
marketing strategy. “SoundCare reinforces our
messages and adds a unique and refreshing
perspective to the messages we deliver,” adds
VanDiver.
As the healthcare provider of choice in Louisville,
Norton boasts rising employee satisfaction scores
and depends on communications that deliver
results. “Our highly effective and diversified
communications campaigns that include both
VoiceBlast and SoundCare are an important part of
what we offer at Norton Healthcare,” says Menaugh. |
